Hi,
Related to update to version 1.14: just did the install through the game menu. (gave me the full game, so I just installed it in a different location).
V 1.14 crashes all the time, did't succeed to start a race. I managed to set up video/cotrols/etc. but crashes afterwards (either gust closes the game, or crashes totally my system).

I have to mention, v1.13 is still installed and works perfectly, never crashed...

My OS Vista 64.

Hi,
You must copy key.ptn and sn.ptn files from location of 1.13 to location of 1.14 version.
But fcr.ptn must be from version 1.14.

thanks for the fast reply.
Did that (it replaced the 2 files there - I re-registered 1.14 already).
Seems that it gets to the Loading... window which doesn't look normal..it's like it has some interference on it and gets blocked in that position....

but I just replaced them with the ones from 1.13. Do I have to re-install 1.14 to ged them? Or the ones from 1.13 are good too. The symptoms are anyway the same...

key.ptn and sn.ptn files are generated on activation.
You should replace them but not fcr.ptn.
fcr.ptn must be in installation file.
If you replace fcr.ptn then you must re-install 1.14.

no, I didn't replace fcr, just the ones you mentioned initially(my bad here). so fcr is the one from 1.14. I'll send it to support

I've checked them. The files are all right.
Hmm, have you tried demo version 1.14 on your system?
We tested it on Vista x64 and it works fine.

I did't try the demo, waited for the full version.

I'm not an expert obviously, but if 113 works and 114 crashes, it must be smth in the updates...

Does it crash on screen "Loading"?
What's the game mode, "hot-lap", "off-road", etc?

Sometimes it crashes(the application simply terminates) just from the menus, but when I manage to get to the "Loading" page, there the page looks not totally loaded (only the bottom orange bar and the "Loading") and with a flicker on it, and that's it. I have to close the game from the task menu.
Does that for all Hot lap, highway race, offroad.

I could recreate this problem. You're right.
I work on the problem now.

Hi,

It gets blocked at the same "Loading..." page. Has no flicker now, but still nothing else.
And still sometimes just terminates with no other warning from the menus..
