This event will start when the servers is put up on Monday and will run through Friday.

This is a special, fun Time Trial Event. Run the course as many times during the week as you like. There is no entry list, posting a lap time on the server enters you. Drive to improve your time as much as you like over the week. Lap times will be recorded and posted at least once a day in this post. As always before a Qualifying session, Good Luck to all and have fun.

Sorry for being so evil. Car felt just nice. Here's the setup. The happy tail tends to overtake you very much to help turn the car through slow corners.

This is a great track, I take no responsibility for the bright and gawkish colors used and after all, it's this beautiful modified street circuit/track anyhow.

The server will be going up soon, begin hotlapping as soon as you like. I will not be posting any times before the end of the weekend though . I've set it to "Time Trial" so you don't have to go all the way arounfd the track to get a time started.

And, the Server is UP!

When did they slip in the Volvo?

I think the Volvo was smuggled in with STCC(2), along with the Volvo 850 - that's where their skin templates are at, anyway

btw, the download link seems to be broken, a fontsize-tag made its way in there

late edit: getting kicked as a possible cheat, anyone else? just extracted the zip to /Locations/ as usual, any ideas?

Hello Dennies.
I can play the track offline. But as soon as I try to connect to our server, the above message pops up. I have dl the track, and put it in the steamapp/etc/gamedata/location folder, following this:

Off-line version:
I recommend taking a backup of C:\Program Files\Race 07 before you continue so it can easily be restored if something goes wrong.

Open the compressed file (.zip/.rar/.7z).
If the folder inside is called Gamedata, extract this to:
C:\Program Files\Race 07\

If the folder inside has the track name, first check if the Gamedata folder is inside or not. If it is, follow the instruction above.
If not: Extract the [trackname] folder to:
C:\Program Files\Race 07\Gamedata\Locations

On-line version:

I was just online driving, no problem.
Can you join other online events?
If not Try opening steam/Library/race 07/Properties and go though Updates and Local Files to Verify Integrity.

If you can join other events in the lobby check that you can see the Potrero folder in /Locations and maybe search the HD to make sure there are no other ones slipped into the wrong place.

NOTE: To all, the server will only let you complete a number of laps, 10-11 and then you will have to leave and return to continue hotlapping. Don't forget to save your car setup!

@Andrew Boerner you only have Race 07 right ? well then thats why you can't join the server since the Volvo is included and that is part of STCC 2.
