IMHO one day is perfectly fine for signups - sure, it can be unclear whether one will make it or not, but signing up as a maybe has never been a problem in case you can't guarantee your participation.
I've signed up pretty much last minute a number of times, as well, but I'll just go for a 'maybe' in these situations in the future, and I guess as long as we don't overdo this, it's okay.
Anyways, we'll see how this "desirable deadline" which is not strictly enforced works out for now and maybe people will adjust

I haven't been able to race a lot in the last few weeks due to moving & my internet disaster (still on 3G, btw, awaiting callback from my provider :/), so I'm not really able to judge the Mon/Wed situation - personally, I've always liked the variety, sometimes more (Formula Master, Radicals (yikes, Okayama.. ), Retro Cool, GTs...), sometimes less (Formula BMW, I just can't quite get myself to like the vehicle), but it's always been a nice change of pace between touring cars and Minis. I'd miss them should they be scrapped in the future, so let's repopulate these events WIth Nords week coming up sometime in the near future, that shouldn't be that hard of task, anyway

Anyways, I'm really, really looking forward to being able to race more again, hopefully via "real" internet (I don't think 3G can handle TS very well, so I guess I'm gonna pass on that) - and I'm curious about those "few more things"

Next week begins my ends my fifth year here at RD.

For this event Arunas Linkevicius has generously brought to us two gifts to be used as prizes to be awarded in this event. For the winner is a copy of F1 2012! The event will have two races run WTCC style and the winner will be determined as it is after the completion of any Race 07 two race event.

A copy of Nail'd will be given to one of the events participants as well! A drawing will be made, "a name pulled from a hat", with a chance for anyone in the event to win. A drivers chance to have their name picked can be increased by entering and competing in any of the Nordschleife events during the week. Each entry for an event gets one more name put in the hat!
