IMPORTANT QUESTION

Since there have been a few people commenting that the time may be too early, can I please have some feedback on the feelings if I push this event back one hour in time. Ie. Practice to start at 19.00 GMT ???

When I chose the time I made an error in the Daylight saving estimation.

Just had a quick go around Vairano (reminds me of Estoril/Imola). I can see some big crashes there - it strikes me as that kind of track - almost every corner looks like you can take it quicker than you actaully can.

Kind of a lousy night results wise. Especially since about an hours before the race I ran a few laps offline and I was running consistently high 2:20s, and I never even approached that in the race.

Race 1: Besides apologizing first the first lap, not much to say. There was a pileup at T2 and people started braking WAY before I expected, so I rammed Mitch pretty hard, fortunately without much damage for both of us. In the process Eric passed me and I hit him at the exit, pretty much ruining his race. Again, apologies. So by the end of lap 1 I was a good 12th. I fought back up to 8-9th, and then people started running out of fuel and I took 6th.

Race 2: Had a good start, and a nice fight with Matt the whole lap, who overtook me at the last corner (for which I never really found the right line all night). Great job Matt, that was fun! Then I held off Keith surprisingly longer than I expected, and he overtook me going over the curbs and almost losing it in the process. Good hands for getting out of that Keith! the rest was just pretty mediocre driving from me the rest of the race, running high 2:22s and 2:23s and getting 7th.

See you at the next race, and congrats again to Keith who was just too good!
