Hehe... Actually - No (well, maybe an ultra-quick glance if I dare - and then usually a facefull of Dunlop). I look at Motec I2 data afterward - really more interested in my corner minimum speeds.

I have yet to test anything for this event except the MOsler. Don't remembeer what my lap times were for a a 5 lap test but I'll have to get some more laps in obviously or I'll get run over!

BTW if you get bored lapping here we have a sexy little WTCC 87 event on tonight! I mean who wouldn't want to take alittle break and race? '87 cars at IMOLA and not a single sign up? hhhhmmmmmm...........

Your path for the svm files is correct,i don't want to tell you how to suck eggs but you open the file as far as it would go ,select all,copy,then paste into your track file.it should be working for you.

thi sis exactly what I did and no joy.

I'll fiddlefuk around with it this week and see what I can accomplish. Other wise I may shift to the 08 mod since I got that one to work..............pffffft

my max speed was something close to 270 km\h in BMW, 265 km\h Mosler, default setup
I didn't try vette, cause I don't like it

I have a pretty good setup for the mosie... will upload later today. I hit 1.57.1 with it with wing at 6.... Gotta let it drift a bit round the turns...

Notice the lower top speed is more than offset by the much higer speeds carried through turn 1 and the final corner.

I use a modified version of his project - lots of data, but useful for checking where you're losing time and for tire temp profiles.

YEah that Motec i2 is pretty sexy. BUT data is almost useless unless you can be very consistent lap after lap. It's like trying to be a scientist with a dynamic experiment which is not a "controlled environment" unless ou can nail each lap pretty closely.

Not quite to that point yet. I usually use the data from known good hotlaps 1 lap at a time. Multiple laps are useful in finding brake lockups and eclectic times etc. Plus - think of the overall picture as more 'realistic' than running consecutive identical laps.
