Any ideas of times round here yet chaps ... I know its all for the fun of it, but I did a 1:43 flat after about 10 or 15 mins praccy yesterday and am wondering whether that is gonna be anywhere near the mark if I manage to turn up, sit down and drive?

(setup was quite horrible though, with seriously uneven tyre temps and stuff :/)

Tested the Vette and the Mosler.

Vette as clearly faster at a best of 56.3 whikle the Mosie could barely get to 58.4. Mosie was trimmed waaaay out to a 1 plitter and 3 wing while the vette was 1 splitter and 5 wing.

Naaa, big E, if you use my setup that I'll upload in a moment.... you can take the first half of the track about .75 faster than you could in the vette... with 2 split and 6 wing... I think I could also manage under 58 in ole mosie with an 8 wing which feels totally in control... more testing tonight but I'll go upload setup now and will update it if tweaks are made...

I'm still looking at the BMW as I'm around .7 faster than the mosler just from the exit of the slow lefthander (right before the fast part of the track) as the BMW has more horses and really makes up time in the last sector. It's too much of a disadvantage taking the mosler.... just like many tracks, it'd be practically impossible to pass a vette in a mosler since you make all your time up in the turns and there's really only one line in most of these turns... So If I can maybe find another .25 seconds in the BMW.... That's where I'll be!

Well, my desktop is toast. :frown:

Will be starting over once GTR Evo finishes downloading on to my laptop. Also had to miss todays RDTCC race. This **** really sucks! The CPU fan retention bracket gave way and left my CPU unprotected from heat. Pretty sure it's fried. It won't even post at this point. There's another 200 bucks down the drain. Grrr...

I managed a few practice laps and with a decent setup but carrying a bit of fuel i managed to get a 1:42 so i dont think you will be too far off
