It was a full-on day today and I'm feeling ultra-tired. The event was a shambles for me, and I really shouldn't have competed in this state. I'm super sorry for the T1 incidents in both races. Nice fight with the Herrmannator towards the end of race 1.

My eyelids are drooping, so I think I'll crash in a different way. :smirk:

First of all sorry for the T1 hit Dietmar and all those who followed into the mess... I was well hard on the brakes but it obviously was not enough. Second race, Rhys was on the grass and his car spun causing the probs... no biggie Rhys, these things happen.

My short report
Praccy went good, and was able to put in a PB with Gunthers setup.

Qualy:
Again a PB and ended in 4th.

Race 1
Start P4, ended P4.
Not to much happened in this race. The front guys got a gap and the guys behind fell off a bit.

Race2
Start P5, ended P5
Had a good scrap with Andrew in the begining and was finally able to get away from him when he had a screen issue i think. Somewhere in the middle of the race i hit a black car towards the end of the lap. I never saw the car and it only appeared on impact. Sorry to whomever that was. Towards the end i caught up to Gunther but could not get past him. Would have been fun to have 1 or 2 more laps.

Great fun all together.

Qual lap - poor first half lap but i nailed the 2nd half of the lap for a good result. 1 second off Jari is good in my book.

Race 1: Forgot to select gear so sat on the line reving for about 1.5 seconds and lost 2 places into the first chicane. Worked my way up to 6th and spent a great deal of the race on Gunthar's tail but just couldn't get through and seemed to mirror any slight mistake he made.

Race 2: Was a lot tougher for me. I really needed a break after the first race due to sweat, nerves and tunnel vision. Started well although Reik just blew by us off the line. Was running 3rd and feeling good when suddenly i froze. And froze, and froze and froze. Must've been 5-7 seconds. When i return i'm in 8th. 5 spots!! I then had some good battles but mostly i was being pressured from behind by a couple of drivers. And i seemed to be getting slower and slower. A few got through and i think i passed a few but in the end i finished a solid 6th.

Pretty good results for me and even more so given how far off the pace i was in V8s at Anderstorp (a regular track for me).

This was a great event. It was good to see that people were fast in differnt parts of the track. This v8 super car racing has been some of the closest and most exciting racing. Pretty difficult to pass but the low ping rate on the server allows some very close racing.

Ist time I raced these in GTR Evo, good fun.

1st race apologies to R Mcoll, I bumped into You spinning You round, waited but You had already hit esc. Other than that Race 1 was just a learning curve.

Race 2, again hit R Mcoll, but this time You jumped on the track in front of me and I could not turn in or avoid. From Your replay Your track reentry looks ok, but as I said, I had nowhere to go.
Other than that had a great race with Cam later on, eventually getting past for 10th.

These cars are great, I cannot believe it can be fitted into 40mb.

first let me say it was a real fun, missed racing with you guys so much

pracy*
i noticed over 4 weeks with not even touching my weel is not a good thing lol crawled around the back, fighting the car and the track. at the end of the session i timed a 1.22
way of pace as the top guys was running 1.19 and low 1.20's

qualy*
made again a 1.22 and slotted into 14th

race1*
had a bad start and made a contact at turn 1 with a Ford *sorry made missjudged my position* after he had rejoind infront of me i was able to climp up to 12th as my tyers started to loose grip from then i had a spin festival till i got lapped by the leaders
i tryed to stay in there flow wich got me in reach to Rhy's and hadd a great battle with him till the line

Race2*
got a great start und was flying up the grid. i was inside of Warren i lifted a bit and started to brake a bit
as he did too then someone in front spun and even if we both braked early we was now verry late on brakes
anyways some guy behind us was way later on the brake o.O
punted me into Warren and made me spin, but after watching the replay i maybe would anyway have hit you Warren so realy sorry, replay proofed i had already loocked up the right front weel a bit so i would not be able to turne in
anyways both rear tyers where flat so i dropped out to the pits and watched the race

fazit i need a lot more train to come back to old shapes

Practice saw me get a PB of 1.20.7xx was happy as was only in the low 1.22's before that...

Superpole: Did ok and got on the grid in 7th

R1: all good, got up to 5th and stayed there... New PB of 1.20.451

R2: started from 4th, dropped back to 5th, someone looked to disco and was then in 4th again. Got some great power down on to start finish around L5 and managed to get from 4th to 2nd under brakes in to the chicane Lost 2nd on L12 when I got wide and on the grass/sand and back on track in 4th and then kept Craig off me for a few more laps till the end. New PB 1.20.351

All in all some of the most fun I have had in a long time

Congrats to Reik, Michael, Jari & Dave for your podiums in the two races!

Qualied 12th

Race 1: Start pretty good managed to get by Dietmar. Then at Turn 1 some car crashed into my backbumper i think it was Michael Hermann but fairly enough he waited for me. I get managed drive thru cars who went out of the track up to 11th. But then my tyres suddenly was loosing grip i had spin, and then another unfortunately i had spin when i was being lapped by leader big impact DNF.

Race 2: Good start till Turn 1. Huge Carnage. Bob Luneski I think went mad. He brake absolutely too late crashed into Michaels Hermann car then carnage continious as Michaels bounce into other cars. I can't avoid spinning cars crash into of them and flat tyre. MADNESS!
