I should have waited. I have spent some time reviewing the rules for the racing clubs as I should have waited. Sorry again for hitting you.

And thank you for documenting the horrid passing attempt on the inside of the Andretti Straight!

See you all at the ring

HEy guys just a thought for us in the future.

Contact can occur in racing. Contact will occur in racing a Sim. All of us at one time or another have contacted someone during a race, and likely it wasn't intentional but a mistake in judgement.

If this wasn't the case, then there wouldn't be a rule for contact.

Also, this is club racing. If for some reason you are concerned about the new "ranking" system and your results at the club level, then you've missed the point of club racing and you should join a league.

I am not saying Stefan, Sam myself or anyone are guilty of anything but thought I would impart some perspective at this time. Likely, I will post something like this in the sign up threads from here forward to preserve the true intended nature of the club experience.

See you at the next event!

I am looking forward to not hitting you :D

The race kinda reminded me of the ALMS race at Mosport last year. The speed difference between the ARX Acuras and John Fields car was just rediculous on the back stretch. And more amazing was watching the ARX pass Fields like he was driving the wrong way on the turns. My setup at Mosport had very little rear wing that was commented on a few times during race 2. I remember someone stating that "man that vette is fast on the back stretch" " all vettes?" "No just Sam's" in which I did reply that my setup had very little wing in it which just made my vette rediculously fast on the back stretch. I hope we have a great turnout again!

See you at the ring.

Haha, yeah that was me commenting about your rocket vette :) I did not hear you respond, but I did ask the question at one point about how much rear wing you were running. You would consistently pull away nearly 0.5 seconds on the straight. My setup was pretty conservative and was focused on rear end stability as I had never driven the C6 before, so I suspected I would be carrying more rear downforce than others. I think I had the rear wing set to 8 - out of curiosity what were you running for rear wing?
