But a hint for you first time drivers, some , not all, of those Blue / yellow Barrels are made of immovable material!

Qualified as 7th, could gain a few tenths but only had 2 timed laps. I got bumbed and had suspension problems with only a bit more then 3 min. on the clock, wouldn't make it to do another hotlap.

First race was good was very nice racing for the 4th till 10th place, the gaps between the drivers were going up and down. At 3/4 of the race I was close to the 4th place, I was hoping he would make a mistake, and yes, the mistake came...only for me then. Was to late on the brakes for the last 2 corners and hit the wall, which resulted in a suspension problem. Steering wheel way off but was able to hold on 7th place till the finish, so was happy with that

2nd spot on the grid for the next race, had a good start but at the first corner I took the wrong line and was going to wide comming out of the corner. On the gras but was able to hold it steady and resumed my way in the pack. At the chicane I really had the feeling the guy in front of me was on the brakes for ever :tongue: tried to avoid him with succes, landed in the gravel and when I got out of there my car spun into the wall. Result was aero and again suspension damage, oh and the last place too. Car was a disaster to drive but made it till 16th place at the finish line.

Was good racing, enjoyed it!! Congrats podium!!

I've just viewed the replays from all three events., unofficial replays.
Hitchin Town: 1200 seconds into the race[the lights go out] and the top three[Ross in third] are half way around the track, no where near start finish. The clock has run out. After crossing the line, some crash into the first turn[or return to pit] others go on for another lap.
Dijon Prenois: 1200 seconds after the start, Abdul[P1] is in the middle of the start grid. The race ends when he crosses the line, same for all that follow.
Cadwell: 1200 seconds after the start, Abdul is about half way around the track from start/finish. His race ends when he crosses the line for the next time, same for all.

Clearly, in my replay, the Hitchin Town race goes an extra lap. Kjell runs a fine race, moving from P7 to the lead and drops out on the last lap after hitting the wall hard in T1[thinking the race was over], Reggie continues to race and finishes the last lap in P1[winning]. Michael follows[P2] and I have Wietse in P3. Ross enters the last lap in P3 but fails to finish the race.

Certainly the race at Hitchin was NOT completed the way most drivers expectred and not the way the other two races were. Some drivers did respond to having continued control of their cars and continued to drive another lap.

IF the checkered flag had been thrown as the top three crossed the line after the running of 1200 seconds of racing, P1 would have gone to Kjell, with Reggie at P2 and Ross in P3.

I raced in real life for 14 years. I would count laps down myself, I would look at pit boards, but I would always look for the crossed white and checkers[half way], the white flag[one lap to go] and never stop racing until the checkers were thrown !!![and that's why I finished as 5th].

Now, as has been said, "It's just a club race."

What kind of times are competitive around this circuit? I've never run this before so I really have no point of reference - right now I'm bottoming out in the 48s after about 20 laps but I feel like there's much more time to shave off...

In practice mode with full race fuel onboard my first timed lap is a 1:47 in the vette. I am going to try Eric's DB setup. I will upload my vette setup once some more tweaks are put into it.
