Will try your setup Eric. Played with the Viper, Storm, Vette and Koenigsegg yesterday. I was (quite a bit) faster in the Koenigsegg, but had far more wheel hop and don't know if I could hold onto it for the full race...

hmm... the rain situation makes the the things little bit more "one way" regarding car "advantages"...

Regarding the nerfing of the add on cars... no one touched the rpm limiter, wish means that both cars even in the lowest setting are limited (well) above engine damage zone.

Why is it important? When going down it is easy to over-rpm the engine a bit, specially in a tight situation. Someone with a "normal" (SimBin) engine limiter is more or less protected from gear-box "brutalities". It really needs to be doing a "gamey" driving (engine braking like a "made-man") or by mistake sending 3 gears down instead of one. Even is such situation, for instances, the C6 loses some engine % health, but not all (one really needs to make an effort to take the engine to 0% health with the C6). With the add-on cars, "another bird things"... a little distraction, you at least lose 1% engine health, bigger distraction, there goes 5% engine health... you jump a gear, specially in the Ferrari, you lose the engine (0% health). Add on top of this the random engine health start number... haha, you might be in for a unexpected short event

I'm not typing the above to prompt some last minute changes, removing the cars or whatever, I'm just typing these here as warning to anyone going to do (or thinking about) the next 150+ minutes event in one of these add-on cars. As matter of fact I don't know yet myself if I'm taking one of them.:wink:

After a few more laps with the Porsche, it is so fun driving that rear in the rain that I should take it... I'm sure I will do a number of spins, but at least I will have fun thinking this is a a Andros trophy simulator :biggrin:

As time has got the better of me again, I will drive me old trusted Mosler MT900R. I might do another skin for it as the current one is now getting a bit old. Will post it by friday if I manage to get it done.

OK guys I also ran some laps and tried to tame the EGG! uploaded the setup for u also. Still a full second slower than the VETTE so far.

ran a 40.5 in that iron beast! Wonder what Jarrod will post in his trusty DBR9..............

I'm trying to get on to race, but when I go to the lobby it says that there is no response and returns me to the menu. I've tried this a number of times and even restarted my computer, but to no avail. I will keep trying though...

ok, it showed up. Freaking me out man!

second edit: I'm syncing so bad right now and can't get it under control. I'm getting frustrated with the whole thing.:frown:

Good racing all! Sorry about my crappy T1 incident in Race 2. Cold brakes caught me out but I'm glad I didn't smack anyone. I pulled off and let everyone go by then had a good time racing with Dennis for most of the race. Eric, I had a good time trying to chase you down in Race 1. :thumbup:
