Race 2: Another race and another mistake grrrr sorry to Andrew on this one and it was on the same corner as i did to Wally, it seems the BMW taking a different line through here caused me problems in the Alfa, i waited for Andrew to rejoin but he left the race ?

No problems Grant. There was no way i could've braked any later there though. It was just a very bad couple of races (or should i say 6 laps) overall for me and i wasn't interested in running last especially with suspension damage as i was suffering pretty bad stomach pains which had hit with 5mins to go in practice...(which is why i managed only one flying lap in qualifying which ultimately put me 11th). I think i was 2nd in practice.

M pierce was lagging quite a bit in the first race which made it very difficult to drive behind. I think i drove very well for a few laps but then i went up the inside to pass and we hit door handle to door handle. So i then tried to stop, i then mistook another blue and white car to be him, started going, then saw him coming, pretty much got myself into the mix rather than following and then got hit twice from behind - the first one sending me back into M Pierce again. It was all too confusing what was gonig on and the last hit i took i felt like i had been straight taken out although viewing the replay it wasn't as bad as i thought. That was the end of the race for me.

Race 2 - 2 careless errors before finishing with broken suspension in the incident Grant mentioned.

All very disappointing as i had the pace in these cars on this track. Hopefully we can race these things again soon.

Two notes:

  • Pitstops are STCC style - no refuelling, and only two tyres changed. Also, make sure you request your pitstop, otherwise you'll lose time. A 'normal' pitstop should take around 7-8 seconds.

  • If you didn't run in the sprint race last week, make sure you only have one Donington track in your locations folder, otherwise you'll have mismatch issues.

nice one Andrew, will try to make it ... any chance of hints on the first track, as I said I really have no idea on probably 50% of the stock tracks ... don't wanna kick the pants outta learning a track, just nice to have an idea of gears and lines before joining the event.

I'm pretty sure Mtommi will be clamoring to sign up - this is his home track!
