OK quick update from RED STRIPE BEER racing..............

Ran some practice and found this so far.

Mosler was best for me at 1:24.2

Spyker was second at 1:25.1

BMW was **** at 1:26.2

All setups are uploaded and a time attack does exist for your viewing. Although some guy tossed up a 22.9 in time attack in the Spyker.........damn thats just quick.

My setups as usual had 30L fuel

p.s. Ross seams right Eric these cars are lower as a F1 atleast in this mod without full packers you bottom out. and even with full packers
if you touch ridehigh you bottom out. try ridehigh allaround 5.5 with full packers and enjoy braking for parabolica or
speeding up the front stretch bad bad bad i tell ya

I'd been following that 1.22 - heck of a getaway out of the last turn and down the fronstretch. I too am by far best in the Mosler (around Eric N's **** time of 1:26.6 ) Spyker & Sunred were high 1:27s and I could never get a good handle on my favorite 'Vette. (on the other hand, a mere 2-1/2 sec off of Eric's pace is an improvement - ).

Eric - will try your setup for practice tonight - I am having a little understeer turning left in the chicane, running me wide into and a little loose (essentially drifting through) the hairpin. The carousel and final turn also need some work to be able to pick up the throttle earlier.

Eric my "****" comment was comparing the Bimmer to the other cars not saying anyone who achieves that time is not good. Just want to be clear about that point with you guys. I am not an elitest nor want to appear as such....:fwd:

I was very surprised the bimmer wasn't much better here. I could probably work with it more and improve it but not sure I can find 2 seconds in it.........:f1:

I run low 1:25s for a 15 lap run in the vette. Pretty much the default setup with 5th and 6th shortened, little less front ARB, and a tic more front camber.

Then I hang on!!!!

I am going to play with the mosler this evening and see what I can do before the event.
