Man, I wish Agent Hex would come back one day and drop a huge WRC Generations mod as a farewell gift.

there are some leaks that he has worked with Nacon and Kylotonn about shaders, that's why this mod is now unsupported, and that's why he has not released the extra rallies in WRC 10 like promised, cause they add everything in WRC 11....

Big if true. WRC 10 shaders are garbage.

And when you click on his playlist,you can see a video of his mod on WRC 8.

I think he dropped the mod.A few years ago, a Nacon representative threatened the author of the mod with legal action on the forum.

Thats sad news, because he can do things right. He is an amazing mooder. Puting the game good.
Nacon is a piece of trash...that give us this year another unfinished product. Iam glad they lost the license.

We still need an update for 1.45.8. I couldn't care less about 10 and Generations, they're beyond saving. They need a lot more than a mod to get fixed. But 9 can be good. We only need an update.

I found a way to bypass the version restriction and install it on 1.54.8 ! I'll write a guide soon, but in short you can use an inno setup extractor to reveal the files inside, which contain another exe you can run to extract the files. Then, you can use the mod selection exes as usual, and it works !

First of all, download the mod. Then, place it in a folder of your choosing, but it must be empty (simply because it's easier to locate stuff afterwards).

Download https://constexpr.org/innoextract/ and put innoextract.exe in the same folder.

Click on the top address bar and type

cmd

in it, then press enter: this will open the terminal in the current folder.

type

innoextract "WRC9 Mods.exe"

. The exe will now be extracted, and two folders will appear:

Copy the content of the app folder in the WRC9 root directory (you can access it via whatever launcher you're using)

Do the same for the tmp folder

Then, go to the WRC9 root directory and type cmd in the address bar again

Another terminal will open, you can close the old one

type

unpacker.exe -Y -o wrc.bms WIN32\PKG\

.

The unpacker will now work (this may take a while). when it's done, simply execute "WRC9 Game and Graphics mods.exe" from the game root directory, and you can now proceed with the install as usual.

Ye i open a 9 launcher and app not working. When i delete mod everything is fine.
