Yo guys,

It seems some very interesting projects have been started recently for rFactor.
Can you guys do some showing off in this thread so outsiders like myself can get some kicks already? :rotfl:

This is my 2nd track I am working on and it is Surfers Paradise Raceway it was a fantastic track in Queensland with one of the fastest right handers on the australian calendar.

The 1st track that I tried to make is a fictional one, using the city of Newcastle with its beaches as a back drop.
Well its a bit more difficult than I thought so I have put it on the back burner until I learn more about BTB.

So if there is anyone interested in helping a newby with these please let me know.

It looks like amazing track and its textures fit perfectly.

But I still have a question about it, I noticed you use BTB walls to create the Grandstands and they look very fine but I'm wondering how did you cap those to create their sides.

Keep going.

Hi Guys,

Here are a few screens of a track I have been working on for a while now!

Hi Satangoss,

Sorry for the delay in answering your post, I only returned from my Holiday today, so still trying
to catch up with a week's BTB Forum news!

Thankyou for your comments re my track and textures!

I have taken a few screen shots in BTB, showing exploded views of
two of my Grandstands!
I have also included views of these in rFactor!
Both Grandstands are made using many individual wall sections, moved
into position using the M and Y key while checking alignment in 3D view
and plan....can be a little tricky....but with practice works well!

Most inportant part is to make sure your happy with the location and angle/slope
of the Grandstand base (shown as 1.) before you start adding the sides/walkways
and steps etc!

Hope this answers your query regarding capping of sides!
