The track looks fantastic, I love the attention to detail however I have a problem. When I try to run a race weekend at Big Willow, the AI cars never leave the pits. Most sit in place with their engines revving, one car will move and immediately crash into the pit wall.

'car will move and immediately crash into the pit wall'
This is precisely what happens when using original (older) files...

Great to hear you like the track, and the attention given with this mod-update... Just checked 'Weekend' mode and all is working as intended... That is, the AI effectively leaves the pit area within the practice session, which in turn the AI works out its fuel consumption, hence not needing to pit in qualification or race sessions... Couple of suggestions, the first one is important as its been discussed at length in AC forums. Check the track's layout folders in windows explorer to ensure that the correct AI files are stored - there should only be two... Any other file with the words 'payload' or 'bin' are to be removed. These files are generated within CM, check and disable 'cache generated grids' and 'cache generated payloads' options in 'CM-Settings-New AI Behavior' section (if applicable).

Whether you've installed these via CM or manually (preferred option), the file structure was correct and should have overwritten these files with the new ones... The image below summarises the files that should reside in the layout folder (green-box). The files within the red-box are the original files (to be deleted/removed or overwritten). Check the dates as an easy reference, the latest dates are the newer files...

The second thought that comes to mind is if you're indeed a CM/CSP/SOL user - without these applications - there's always a chance the track-mod and subsequent updates to it may not work as intended. Few other tips: if using CM - now and then CM requires a restart (close/open) for changes to take effect. Ensure you're running latest updates for CM, CSP and SOL apps. Come back and report your progress - and trust that it will work for you. Sometimes a fresh manual install is now and then required - plus you're literally seeing what is taking place, the files that are been copied across, etc... All the best!

Thanks so much! It was the "payload" and "bin" files that needed to be removed. All is well now. Thanks again.

That's a new twist of an issue right there... Photo mode seem to work just fine at my end... Have also read some related stuff that may be of interest to try - depending on what overlay apps you have when driving/replay mode, begin to deactivate non-csp apps initially to check for any conflicts... each time retrying to take a photo...

Few other tips/suggestions:
- use JPG or PNG alternatively and take photos...
- use both photo-mode app and the free-roaming camera F7 to take pics
- try an older CSP version (current versions may be bugged, until resolved in time)...
- check you photo folder-directory properties to ensure it is not read-only...
- check FPS ingame to ensure you're getting a decent rate, adjust video settings if required...
- as one of the last checks, disable SOL in CM and retry taking pics...

FYI - there would be nothing on the track's folder structure that would have a conflict or simply impede photo-taking capabilities... So therefore as a last suggestion, reinstall CSP fresh.

Thank for reply.
I found problem. The problem is layout name in ui_track.json with mark '/'
Corect is "name": "Big Willow"
not "name": "Willow Springs / Big Willow",

Glad to know the photo-issue has been rectified - that's the main thing...

Editing the 'name' value inside the 'ui_track.json' file should NOT impact the photo-mode ability... This value is for display purposes only within CM (eg: title, heading)...

By the way, all layouts have a '/' in the name-field... So if other layouts don't work for you, then you can edit those too... I have not edited any of these files and it all works fine... Maybe a recent update on your side, maybe a reboot, or closing/restarting CM was required...
