Why No English - England?

Dosnt make sense, in game i can select Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland and Great Britain as my nationality, no England.
N Ireland, Wales and Scotland along with England make up Great Britain, they are either great brits or they are independant nations, if they are independant nations then so is England, if they are part of Great Britian then why are the 3 nations selectable but not England?

Imagine being able to select France, Germany, and Spain but not Italy cause Italy is part of the EU so Italians can only be European....................yeah exactly :)

I did a little search and the only thread i found was on the ACC forums asking the same question, but rather than explain and justify it, ACC, KUNOS and their arrogance locked it without a word.

How in 2020 can a video game justifiably miss out one of the leading lights of motorsport, both modern day and historically speaking.

lol, love the game but that is just wrong, im English first and foremost and proud to fly the cross of st george, the only time im a brit is during the olympics or commonwealth games.

I want to be able to select my nationality as a race driver, that is English, not Other or Great Britain!

Two years in, come on Kunos, sortitoutsi ;)

In real its the GB flag used or i missed something
They must delete scotland, wales, .. or add england to make sense

In two years multiplayer is still EA state so dont expect too much

The game offers "Great Britain" as a nationality?? Wow, hadn't seen that.
It should be UK (as in "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland"), cos that's what's written on your passport if you are from England.
But yeah it's really bizarre to offer the other countries of the UK but not England. No idea what that's about.

Given that the list of nationalities is far from complete (missing are bits of Europe, about half the Middle East, most of Africa and some of Asia), I'd hazard a guess that these are just a list of the registered countries (even if not technically correct as GB isn't a country) of drivers in the SRO/Blancpain series.

EDIT: Just have a quick look on SRO - it defines a driver's nationality (eg British) rather than country of origin (which would be UK or constituent country thereof), so Kunos have got the wrong end of the stick

Wow. In that case, it shouldn't let you enter your own name either :D
