F1 2013 Why does my pc keep changing gears

As title asks why is this happening to me I am using a G27 and have played this game since codemasters got the licence and now i wanna try something new ie manual gears to see if i get a better experience however all my settings say manual gears yet the game still changes gears in each corner so it ends up messing up so many corners is this just me or is there a setting i need to do or a fix for it THANKS FOR ANY TIPS

I think you had Semi Automatic Gear box Turned on either you can change or the game will change the gears. Change it to Manual in Gear box then only you can change the Gears
