F1 2012 Who has F1 2012 - Xbox 360

This is just to give current F1-2011 league organisers an idea of who is already racing in the leagues that have the new F1-2012 game. If you are not in our current F1-2011 league you can still register that you have the new game. It could mean you want to race with us. If you do, then please make sure you apply for a license here http://www.racedepartment.com/forum/threads/read-this-first.43576/.

Once you are approved you can take part in some scheduled non league races to show you are a clean and fair driver. If you are deemed clean and fair then you can signup to one of the current leagues. (if there is a free seat). A switch to F1-2012 will be considered by the stewards in the coming weeks / months.

When you coming back ??

No interest in playing 2011 now so when we start a 2012 season which due to bugs I doubt will be before a second patch (based on last year late October or early November) and dependent on it being on a Sunday/Monday/Tuesday evening. Am up for any friendly forum races in the meantime just send an invite!

2012 is a step up and a potentially great game but Codies are frickin' awful when in comes to testing and quality assurance. Am sure you are all aware that it seems pretty much every race is wetter than an otters pocket right now! What's most annoying and frustrating is the repitition of bugs from previous games and stupid and/or lazy design such as not allowing custom setups or displaying race day weather for one shot quali.

In my opinion they clearly don't have the team or budget to commit to annual releases but of course they will keep churning them out - we've got 3 F1 themed games this year (2012, Race Stars, Online: The Game) and it's all about making a profit on a very expensive licence.

Just a thought but it might be an idea to plan for 2 seasons this time around to avoid this cross-over period of new/old game. Obviously 2 seasons of 20 races requires 40 race nights and presumably F1 2013 will likely launch the week of the Singapore GP again (as it has the last 2 years). From January 6th to September 15th there are 37 Sundays in 2013 - this doesn't include potential November & December 2012 dates but with the wait for a second patch plus the inevitable Christmas break it makes things very tight so worth bearing in mind and thinking about now!
