Hey. I just goy the game for Xbox. I'll like to buy a steering wheel. wichone do you recoment? is the xbox wireless anygood?

XBox 360 wheels have been discontinued????

I've been reading this thread with interest as I fully intend to buy one and although I could see there was a limited selection for the 360 I'm pretty shocked.

Does anyone know the reason for this?
yeah i am also shocked to hear this i thought there would be a good selection of steering wheels as i wanted to buy one aswell but it appears to be a hard job

the fanatec would cost close to 1k dollars here in brazil, but i would happily buy it if i could find one. there is no one, i mean NO ONE selling these wheels here. althought discontinued, i managed to find a logitech drive fx and i'm really liking it, seems like a good choice for a budget. not so great ffb, but much more reliable than the official wheel and very responsive.

Yes it does.

The 911 Turbo S is available as a pure edition (no pedals, $250), standard ($350) and ultimate edition ($450).

Also, Mad Catz is putting out a new 360 wheel this fall, nothing to get excited about though as they have a reputation for making cheap toys and I don't think it has force feedback. The pedals look interesting though, I haven't seen that design before.

Yeah the reason the wheels have been discontinued or so I was advised by xbox customer support is due to the fact that they are concentrating on Kinect. While I understand microsoft wanting to push their new toy, they obviously don't understand the racing community because there is no way it will be a realistic driving experience with me pretending that I have a steering wheel in my hand and pretending to turn it. Where is the feedback, the feel of the road those little vibrations I feel when I cut over the ripple strip just right!

I have just recieved these pedals, at first the pedals felt crap but I got used to them after a few hours, they feel really light but from what I've heard the Xbox ones were/are anyway.

btw, mad catz sux.

Just because its not a leading brand? I use them and although not perfect they do the job reasonably well. Nice spelling BTW .

Sorry, I didn't realize they showed different stock for different regions. I think the only way to buy the wheel is direct from Fanatec. I would email them and ask. Like you said the Turbo S was a limited run so it's possible that they've sold out for good.

Hi Folks, I have read that there is a new MS wireless wheel out at the end of October hence the discontinuation of the previous model, its great marketing as all remaining stock will have been snapped up by the F1 2010 buyers, I dont think that the timing is coincidence.
