Where did "first unread" go?

OK thanks, but i can't seem to find that button in news articles, only in "normal" posts. Is that by design?

EDIT: Apparently it's missing from pinned posts too. I'm on an iPad ATM if that matters.

EDIT 2: Re-checked and it's visible in some pinned posts, but not all, so there goes that logic...
Hmm.
I think it should be present in all pages whose URLs begin "https://www.racedepartment.com/threads/", and absent in those which begin "https://www.racedepartment.com/news/". This is because our article management system doesn't (yet?) have that feature.
If you come across a counter-example for either category, please let me know as it's by no means impossible that I'm talking nonsense ;)

OK, that would explain why it's not present in the news article where it first caught my attention, but... here's two random threads where it's also not present (at least for me):

https://www.racedepartment.com/threads/content-manager-lap-time-database.202088/

The jump to new button disappears when you have read the entire thread or have marked the forum or all forums read.
OK that makes sense, though i'm sure i haven't read all posts in one of my examples ^^^ nor have i marked the forum read. I'm wondering if this all might have something to do with the recent downtime/rebuild of the site  Anyway, it's not a big deal, but it sure would be nice to have the "jump to new" -option in the news category as well. Have a great weekend all!

Sorry for slightly offtopic, but I didn't want to start a new thread for that.

I would very welcome a change of font color (or the background color) for the unread messages badge, current one is not very well readable, at least in dark mode you have to look closelier to see which number there is:
View attachment 472221
please do something about the colors/size of the "new" posts count, this is (edit: still) unreadable

Oh damned you are almost right, i have set colors for visited/unvisited links for Firefox, like it should be and was in web 1.0 and this is nearly the same as that backgroundcolor of that thing! Finally i can do myself, once more we see: just talking about it is the way :) !
Edit: with that in mind, if you look at post #14 screenshot there is one category i never visit :whistling:
