That is absolutely gorgeous :Owell im only looking to spend around 1200 on first car depending on how much i sell my moped for once i get my driving lisence! But il spend more if i see something VERY Special! And warren how much did you pay for it/how much it cost to get looking like that?

It was partly restored when I picked it up and I have gradually finished the restoration over the past 8 years.

Hard to estimate, but I have been told the current market value is about AU$25,000.

My first car was a gutless Ford Pinto Automatic in 1975. My dad thought it was a "safe" car. After I wreaked it I bought very cool 4 speed Opal that I never wreaked - Faster can be safer!!!!

I took it to a few car shows a few years ago (picked up a second prize with it) but decided a few years ago that this car was for driving, not for showing. So now it gets used in our regular Mini Club runs.

The first car I drove was a VW Golf 1.3 (or less) in which I did my driving lessons

The first AND last car I owned was a Opel (Vauxhall) Kadett (type D) 1.3S from 1984 in Grey metallic. It was stolen and found back (in the almost the same condition) and was victim of thieved for about 2 or 3 times.
Sold it because the repair costs where too high.

Then 2 years of public transportation and since then only lease. But I am considering buying a 2nd hand car next year.

First car I owned was a Ford Cortina Mk III, 1600 XL auto in bright orange with a black (and peeling) vinyl roof. Loved that car.

But my first realy sports car with manual gearbox was - Ford Escort Cabrio with Cosworth 150 bhp 2.0 litre engine. I coudn't find such modification at the web, but owner of that Ford said such specs as i told before. But despite all the specs - that Escort was very fast...
