As a novice about Simracing, one of the most difficult setting is Differencial.
There's Power(Lock) , Coast and preload. <--- in SimBin's setting.
For my knowledge(maybe I know nothing about Diff),
When I drive into a Corner, first step on Brake and it causes Coast work at the enter of corner.
and when I hit the apex of corner, step on Throttle and it causes Power work at out of corner.
Then, if there's two settings of Diff setting..
(The corner is curve to the right)
40 (power)/ 60 (coast) / preload.....(A)
60 (power)/ 40 (coast) / preload.....(B)
If there are two ends of diff 0%~100%
(A) means Left-wheel turn around two rounds more than Right wheel at Brake(coast)..if I chop 100% of coast by 10% then it means the length of 10 rounds of wheel.
and when it works in Throttle, also Left-wheel turn around two rounds more than Right-wheel.
In case of (B) if i take it same way...it goes same result as same as (B)
So i think it's nonsense...:doh2:
If I think it defferent way...
(same as..I chop 100% of diff by 10% then it means the length of 10 round of wheel)
(A) It's longer in Coast as much as two round of wheel length than Power,
So Braking length is two times longer than Throttle length.
(B) It's longer in Power as much as two round of wheel length tnan Coast,
So Throttle length is two times Longer than Braking Length.
Um...I don't know which is right,
maybe all of above is wrong.
and also my English is the worst.....:smile-big:
Please give some right knowledge of differencial and corner.
Thank you ahead.
