What happens if you have RAce 07 and GTR Evolution Full?

Hi,

Anybody knows what happens if you have installed Race 07 from DVD and also are going to install GTR Eovlution Full (incl Race 07). Will you have 2 Race 07's in Steam then? Can I give my 'old' Race 07 copy away to a friend?

it will add evo to your race07 install
your friend would not be able to go online cuz the 07 key is bound to your steam acc

There is a way around having your key bound to your "Steam Account" but you need to get in touch with steam and have your origian recipt and take a scan of the cd key within the manual to have the original key removed. Then you will be able to pass on your key.

is there a mod anywhere to start gtrevo or race without disc?.
the only reason why i ask is gtr2 had one.

If you're using the Steam version (either direct from Steam or installed from disk) you dont need the disk in the drive anyway.

I have seen NoDisk "patches" for the offline install of RACE07 but its easier just to use Steam I'd say.

thanks Rick tried without the disc and works fine.that'll stop my disc drive going crazy now.
