F1 2010 What F1 game were you playing before F1 2010?

hi everyone, new member, first post

i've only recently bought F1 2010, so and found this community. so far it's good, but im looking forward to 2011 to see what tweaks we get.

in my life i have always bought the latest F1 games, whether PC or Playstations. Im curious to know what games fellow members played before we all moved to this one.

Anyone remember which PC game had the F1 training school, where you drove an Arrows 2 seater (Orange & Black?), you had to get perfect corners around Monza etc.....AWSOME.......I too started on REVS way back when...couldnt even pull away as I remember

My only F1 game before F1 2010 was "offiial Formula 1 Racing" from Eidos, data of Season 1998. I think I was 12 years old, driving with a Saitek R4 wheel. Childhood memories

Best feature: Mid-race saves!

F1 97 Bizarre Creations. PS1 Great game-spent 6 weeks 4 nights a week just to master Monaco!
F1 2002 EA Xbox. (I was Webber in the Jaguar)
F1 2010 (firt Multiplayer experience)
F1 2011 on order.

I bought the first one as I was spending about A$2,000 p.a. on sega rally at pubs in Sydney and thought it had to stop.

Just like Peter all previous games were on PC. bought an Xbox at xmas specifically for F1 2010 (couldn't afford a PC with spec to run new games because programmers are so lazy, remember when games would take maybe 60MB of memory! now it's gigs & gigs)

Used to rig up 3 PC's in different rooms of my house and link them up. Miles of cable through the house but Geoff Crammond was god back then and we'd be up all night every chance we got. Tried online with a dial-up connection - haha
