What exactly is Launch Control and how does it work ?

Maybe a dumb question but I don't know.

It is a way to get off the line at the start of a race cleanly, little wheel spin.

To use it, first assign a button to it in Options -> Controller.

1. On the start line push the button and hold it (you will see it engages 1st gear)
2. Press the gas to the max!
3. Wait for the start and release the button and you're off. Zooooom away.
4. Change to 2nd gear as normal and carry on up the gear box.

Some cars automatically work up the gears too (like the Vee for example, and I think the V12)

On some mods, the L/C will only rev the car to 5000 revs. Pull away is slow with them. I think there is a way to adjust this.
Also, if using L/C, the car will drive in auto until the first time you brake, then manual takes over.
