As it's my first RD race can I ask a couple of noob questions?

1) Are there mandatory pitstops for these races?
2) Are the starts standing or rolling (and if rolling are they computer or driver controlled)?

I though of another one - as I won't have enough time to create a skin of my own am I free to use any of the skinpack skins or do I have to stick with the default Race 07 ones. Not a big problem either way but I don't want to step on anyone's toes!
