So far my race. After the first lap. I noticed that i couldn't see any cars anymore. This was my chance on a first place. I am really fealing frustrated right now.
All the day practise for nothing.
Hope my car wasn't lagging over the place.
I never had the issue before.
I didn't even saw a Connection drop or something.
It just let me race by myself.

Spend 30-40 minutes trying to get in, only to get punted off on lap 1, crash out on lap 2 and get a puncture, suspension and front aero damage, limp to the pits, where it doesnt fix it, spend another lap limping around, pit again, still doesnt want to fix it...

Also, no matter what I do with the setup, I always get chronic understeer, and I have trouble with acceleration too, given theres no traction control and I have a controller where its tricky to balance the throttle out of first gear hairpins and at the start...

I give up.

Difficult track, was 5 sec slower than pole
At start the cars were blinking and i hit someone that i do not saw the name, really sorry for that, i've allways gets frustrated when this happen and after some more mistakes just retired cause was not funny any more for me.
I prefer the wtcc extremes than dtm.

Sorry ... I tried to join late but then my PC hung on me just as I did ... by the time I got things back up and running again I decided it best to leave well alone since I never drove this track before and there was only qualifying left :sad:

After taking a deep breath.
I wanna react on the people that join the server late. Without any practice and complaining about DTM. I think you really need to know the DTM cars and the track. Without this its almost impossible to give you guys good advice about setup and racing line!
I noticed that the whole day i practiced there where only a couple of people trying. These guys where faster on the qualify and probebly the race. This due the fact that they practiced!!
So don't complain please if you drive the car for the first or the track. Just ask for help. I learned that the people you race with are very very helpfull.
I had the experience to drive fast. Only the setup part was my killer.
After spoke to Keith he uploaded a setup. As i tried the setup i was all over the place!!!!. Then i was thinking how is it possible that he drives that quick on sepang, and i am that bad with the same setup.
The sollution everyone has its own driving style.
I noticed that i like the car with a little bit understeer (yves my problem in the BMW )
But with DTM it makes you fast.
So ask for a setup and say what kind of driving style you prefer.
With minor tweaks you can switch from over- to understeer.
But don't forget to practice and practice.
If anyone has a question about setups. I can help on a amateur level.

Yves Tnx to setup this race. To bad i couldn't show my practice skills, and had a good battle with you and James Yates.
Next time i will be back

Don't see it as a complain guys. I just want people to know what they talk about before they say anything.

Edit* something else. People if you know the car and the track. The race will be more fun. Its easier to keep the car on the track that avoids collitions. I don' t say it never happens but it makes the possibility smaller!

Rather pissed off with the track at the moment.

Had a weird accident at the second corner where I didn't actually hit Yves on my screen, but with the NA pings i probably brushed it and it punted him off the track in a nice accelerato crash. Waited for him and then drove as quick as I could to move up to second. On the way up the field I had a great battle with Gary for a good few laps, shame you lost it as that was great fun! Caught up with the Herrmannator soon after that but he got taken out while lapping a car, i was also involved but got away with loosing little speed and taking little damage. Was catching Yves who was leading and overtook him as he went in for his stop. Pitted on lap 17 - at least I tried to. I overcooked the pit entry and saw the signs in front of me and though I would just go over the gravel and grass to get back onto the track, do another lap then try again. Unfortunately, whoever made the track had the great idea to make the damn things solid which was the end of my race. Other problem with the track is near the end of the lap there is a really random bump which is invisible but unsettles the car mid corner. A stupid end to what was going to make an interesting race.

Shame about the disco Yuri, with your pace in practice and qualy you were certainly in with a shout for the win.

Race over for me. Just midway pitted behind Aritan, I thought I would be smart and just change the front tyres and add fuel, to leap frog him. Which i did but only for a short time. I came out 5th I think. I lost the car and saw Aritan pass me LOL. My rear tyres were losing grip badly so I decided to pit for rear tyres. I would lose 6th and 7th place but be able to have 8th place. Requested to pit. My car was so attracted to those Massive Yellow signs written PIT just before the pit entrance that I smashed into one. Suspension, Engine all gone. I had an awful time setting up the car. On those dips my car was losing so much speed. Track is scary Eric.

Requested to pit. My car was so attracted to those Massive Yellow signs written PIT just before the pit entrance that I smashed into one. Suspension, Engine all gone.

Exactly the same thing that got me, completely retarded track design if I'm honest.

had a blast and did a pb in the 2.12 what gave me 5th on the grid

just wow a awsome start gave me a jump on tyler towards turne 2 then the trubble startet i think Yves spun it right in front of James
gave me a run on them too so i was 2nd at the end of turne 2 but no way i could keep the pace of Yuri who was awsome fast
then on the mainstreet Yuri lagged had to lift a bid but Tyler who was nagging on my tail would be anyway past as he was way faster
short after Yuri dropped out bad luck you was realy fast mate. short after Yves was on my tail and i had a great battel with him
but i was just not fast enough to hold him so back on 3rd , a few more errors later James closed in verry fast
we came up to turne 1 and i could hold him flashing at the guys in front as they was going to get laped
at turne 3 we was on them John moved outside on the curbs to let us by at least it looked like
with James behind me knowing he takes no prisoners i had to take that change as John suddenly came across the track
i had no where to go and just T-boned him while James had fun to remodel my rear end as he was right under my wing
that killed my car totaly
anyways a awsome car track combo
and i realy hope we will have a lot of events on this track cuz its totaly scratch build and this guys did a unbeliveable job there
it just deserves to get runned much as possible

Thank's a lot guys, nice track and fun racing as always these late sunday night events, first time on track as many others but got a pretty good pace in the end of the race, just a couple more laps and maybe, just maybe I would have got the 8:th place..... right Ross?
Naaah I made too many misstakes trying to catch up with Ross up infront of me.

Yes that was me you hit causing puncture and wrecking my race at the start of 30 laps, Why did you not wait?
