Watch Sky F1 HD on smart device for free!

I'm not a Sky customer but I can now watch the f1 channel on my iPhone. Apologies if this has already been posted.

It is legit!!

You'll need to download the 'Sky Go' app
You will need a Sky customer number (I used my brothers)
Then go to the Sky website- http://www.sky.com/shop/tv/sky-go/
Register (it takes about 4 minutes)
Once registered, you'll get a Sky Go ID which you have to put in once to connect to the app
All Sky customers are allowed this on 2 devices
You will be able to watch any channel they have in their package at no extra cost.
There may be some hidden costs but it's free for the basic channels in the customers package

It works with 3G but wifi is obviously much better.

Fair enough.
I'm annoyed at the Sky Go app. It worked on 3G until the Apple iOS 5 software update and now it doesn't

A few people seemed to have this problem. If your phone is not jail broken then - go to settings, scroll down to general, scroll down to reset, then tap reset network settings, wait for your phone to reboot, then connect to your wireless network, then try your app and try 3G.

If it is JB install Xcon and Xcon alias from Cydia to solve this.

Also I think 3G signals have different strengths in different areas. There is a Sky Go support forum that you might want to check out...
