Important: Please pay special attention to Racedepartment's Golden Rule: If you hit another driver and disadvantage him, we expect you stop and let the other driver regain his position on you. If this costs you many places (eg first few laps) then consider this a penalty for your driving infringement. Doing this shows respect to your fellow drivers and will encourage drivers to be more careful. Please use some care when letting the other driver regain position, do not immediately stop your car on the driving line where it can cause further accidents. Not following this rule will result in your membership of the racing club being terminated at once!

Can't make it this week unfortunately - got relatives staying and much as I'd like to be antisocial, I'd better not :wink2:

Hey guy I guess I better write one of these too. First off it amazes me how you guys have gotten so fast, I dunno who this Keith guy is but damn...you got some speed in those shoes man. Also William remember I told you one of these days you'll be taking me over way back when, well I think that day is getting closer.

Qually: This was super frustrating, this is by far the most frustrating track for me. 1st and 3rd sector I would always lose tenths just because its so hard to get this car on the proper line, I think its just me though since Keith managed what I have to say is a spectacular time in the old GTA. Also Sai was right behind me, and I mean right behind me. I knew it would be quite the race.

Race 1: Expected lots of jostling for position but I got lucky on the start and the first turn and never really looked back, joking I was looking back all the time. Sai and Keith were on me like flies on ... well you know. Finished P1.

Race 2: This was a different story, started 8th and made a bad start to boot. Bogged the car and didn't gain as many positions as I should have but it was decent. I managed to edge out Keith after a tustle leading to the back straight, lucky didn't get stuck behind him since being the caliber of racer he is things would have been a lot harder. The I got lucky again and got William at the last chicane before the front straight due to a bad exit he had since he was fighting Sai for position who was already past. After this I basically tried to push knowing that saving the tires would be crucial since this car is notorious for erupting into spins in the last laps. I made some ground up on Sai and at the front straight exiting the chicanes he put a wheel wrong on the bumpy rumble strips and he was just a passenger after that, tough luck man would have been an epic fight as always. Finished P1.

William there's no way I'm that consistent or as fast as you say. There was a bit of luck in the 2nd race which allowed me to take position easily. People like Greger Huttu are not human, the guy would crank out qualifying lap after qualifying lap for 11 laps at this event, that's uncanny.

I'll see how it all goes,
I'll lower every single detail in the game if I have to to be able to handle the FPS demanding porto...
If I can't get good FPS I'll have to quit and wait for a more forgiving track to play in Aus servers :)

I'll stay at the back of the grid so if I do come across any FPS issues it wont affect guys in front.....

Hi,

Can I be moved to the bottom of the reserves as I am not sure if I can make it or not
Sorry

in which case, i'll need to take you off the list completely mate, with limited slots we've got people who definitely could race waiting to get into the reserves...

Start: 23:59 GMT
Track: Warwick Farm

RACE 1

Class: Caterham 200
Weather: Dry
Practice: 15 mins
Qualification: 10 mins
Race: 10 laps

RACE 2

Class: Honda Accord 06
Weather: Heavy Rain (rain fix)
Practice: 15 mins
Qualification: 10 mins superpole
Race: 10 laps
Note: Rolling start, forced stops

Notes:

OK fellas, here's a chance to take part in something a bit different.

I have ported the GTL version of Warwick Farm across to GTRe. It's all set to go, I've got the permissions, just need to give it one last proper test - and this is where this event comes in!

2 races, the first a standard session with the Caterham 200, I'll then re-pop the server for the second one, where every option I could think of will get tested using the Honda Accord 06; superpole, heavy rain, rolling start, forced stops.

I'd totally appreciate anyone and everyone who signs up for this event. Obviously, I need you to be on the look out and report back any issues but otherwise it's just a regular event! If all goes well, I'll put out the official version on Saturday.

I'll send you the download link for the track via PM when you sign up for this event.

Please don't redistribute the track to anyone else.

Also, make sure you install the rain fix!
