Is there a way to make VR work on Windows version of DR2? As it is now free with game pass I installed but didnt found anything about VR on this version.
Mine is not from Steam, is from Windows store. I'll try to turn on Oculus app and see what happens. Thanks a lot.Yes.
But be aware that the Steam version doesn't currently have the Oculus SDK so it may not run all that great. Apparently it's getting an update in the next few days that should add the Oculus SDK and hopefully run nicely.
Oh, well then I'm not sure if that version will run on VR since I didn't know it existed until just now. There's a version on the Oculus store that was done by the folks at Oculus and it runs great but doesn't get the DLC and you can't play online against people with the Steam version. Codemasters paid Oculus for the work and then shoehorned a version of VR into the Steam game but it didn't have the best performance (from what I've read), or something like that. I'd wait for someone with more knowledge about the Windows Store version to come along, maybe they can help you. In the future it would probably be best to buy games from Steam to ensure you have the complete and most up-to-date version.Mine is not from Steam, is from Windows store. Thanks. I'll just wait for a sale of full version on Steam. Got Gamepass ultimate for my kid on Xone, it would be a nice bonus to play Dirt2 in VR for free on PC thou...
The deluxe version (which includes the first two batches of DLC) is only $32 on Humble right now. I picked it up last week, probably a much better deal than any Steam sale will offer.Thanks.
