But i've found some info on it:

Tracklength of the GP track is around 4.5 km

Looking at the vid (which Bram beat me to it again ) these crazy guys were not driving on the GP track, but on the shorter clubtrack:

Maybe they misspelled it. Chayaka is known on the internet as Chayka

But what im wondering: how did simbin came up with this track and not with another (swedish) track for instance??? I cannot find any link between Volvo and this track....

I think most swedish tracks were already covered in STCC? I must say its kinda original, never heard of it before. So new = welcome for me!

That S40 looks so damn great in them screenshots, just wondering whether they're allowed to use real driver names for the BTCC cars because who is Odell and Spander i think it is on the 850

Don't worry. I think (and hope) they will make it modable and release templates, so there will be real driver names, think.

Anyone else getting excited about the idea of an RD club race with the Supertouring S40 and 850 estate?

I hope they nail the sounds for those cars. I remember them both sounding sweet when seeing them in the BTCC.

Yes I agree on both the RD Club idea and the sounds! Would be awsome to have a Volvo Super Touring races here at RD! And for the sounds, no touringcar will ever sound as good as the 5-cylinder Volvo enignes! :wink2:

The year I saw the S40 in action my sister and I were sitting in deck chairs with an umbrella as it poured with rain practically all day at Thruxton. To make things worse our mother was being wined and dined by Volvo in their hospitality tent as she'd won a raffle at our previous visit to the circuit:rotfl:

She also had a bit of a thing about Rickard Rydell so she was in dreamland all the way home.

Those Vids just remind me how good the Supertouring days were, especially during the mid to late 90's.

I gotta say i'm blown away. I now have huge respect for Volvo and Simbin to create s40 and 850 volvos and new tracks. My cynical view of the world usually means i'm pretty on the money, but boy was i wrong.

This has made my day.

You'll struggle to find me in any other car once we get those moved across into Race07.

i thought these would be added in with race07/gtre. Ohhhh gutted. Is there going to be club events with these nasty beasts?
