Read this before making your race report

i won't tolarate any talking about the cutting in any race report, if you feel that someone was badly cutting use the incident report form to report it, the link can be found in the top post.

Wow had more fun getting wrecked for the win in the last corner than this event I do like minies though. I just wish people understand that there is time put into this and it is for fun but enough is enough slow it down it was lap 2 stop bumping I am kind enough not to report but 4th time i think i might we are at 3 so time to get a mechanic for those breaks

Had a lot of fun in this one. Closing racing between Corey and myself in the final laps in race 1.

Race 2. Got off to a really bad start. Apologies to those behind me. Haven't looked at replay, but sorry to Willie and Tim as I think I tapped you both. If I missed anyone I am sorry. Got in some bad situations (put myself in them) but nothing was intentionally.

Fun nice racing with you guys tonight. Waaaaay different than S2000's. Looking forward to the next one.

Thanks to RD and Yves for setting this one up. :)

Never one dull lap for me across both races from start to finish, much great chasing and being chased battles,i think thats all we can ever ask for really...innit? :D
Thank you to everyone i raced close with, which was the entire grid race2 :p :good:
Thank You Yves and RD :good:

Two wins for me after qualifying 3rd.

Before I go on though, quite a few of the laps I cut (just) the middle part of the fast chicane and half the time I had no idea I was doing it, very hard to see from on board! So apologies for that, but the times I made a mistake and a slightly bigger cut, and therefore realised, I always lifted off to gain no advantage, so there was no big deal in the end.

Race 1 - was intense work. I had Gary GLUED to my bumpoer for the first 12 laps. Got off the line ok, but dropped to 4th behind Yuri after a few corners side-by-side. Gary was nibbling away behind, when Yuri and Brandon went off in front, allwoing me into 2nd, a couple of seconds behind Keith. Keith made a big mistake lap 6 (I think), clipping the wall and allowed me topressure him into a small mistake at the last corner, and I nipped down the inside. Then I made a slight mistake a couple of laps later, allowing Keith past very briefly into T2, until he ran on the grass, allowing me and Gary by. Keith may have been struggling with slightly bent suspension so despite me and Gary battling we pulled away a little. It was nose to tail with us two until Lap 13, Gary went for the cut back and clipped the tyres ending his race. I was so surprised by that I allowed Keith to catch up, but pulled away again slightly on the last lap to win.

Race 2 - Starting 8th, up to 6th by T3, behind an immense battle between Yves, Keith and Matt with Abdul nibbluing away behind. Very, very close stuff, hard to know where to put the car on occasion. After some hard stuyff Yves, Keith and I got past Matt and I got past Yves a couple of laps later, with a beautiful (I thought) outbraking move. In 4th, first Claudio and then Yuri, who had surrendered the lead to Keith, went off gifting me 2nd. I was fairly happy with that, but kept the pace up anyway, and it paid off with Keith making several mistakes and allowing me through for the win by pretty much the same margin as Race 1.

So as you can see, some fabulous action, perfect track and car combo, competitive, clean guys and top fun. Thanks Yves and RD :good:
