Great track the 03, great racing except for me in race 2.

Qually: Had good pace in the Marcos, earlier in the day I was trying out the Mosler as well and it had similar speed. Had a good qually lap placed me on pole, however in warmup with a full tank of gas I managed a tenth quicker so there was certainly pace to be found.

Race 1: Decided to use a new starting technique, using the clutch and it worked wonderfully to my surprise. I shifted really early those first few hundred meters and that allowed a green Corvette to really reel me in (Stefan maybe). After that it was smooth sailing, just trying to get consistent laps in, which I failed at, and push the car see what the limits of grip where at certain tyre wear levels. Finished P1.

Race 2: The drama is always here imo, and I'm ashamed to say that this time it was all my fault. Starting P8 I got off the line in similar fashion, I was up to Yves Corvette very fast tried to avoid him but just clipped him on the left rear fender, that sent me into a spin lost front aero and damaged suspension. I'm sorry for my noob ways there, I hope those that got tangled could at least patch themselves up in the pits and could have a go for the rest of the laps. Missed the pit entry the first lap, got in the second lap almost 40 sec pit stop. Came out in front of the leaders by a few sec I think, managed to put in some decent laps almost catching P10 which was 1min away on Lap 2. The car was damaged so my pace suffered but the car was comfortable to drive.

I need some more race time under my belt to get these starts right. Great race, nice to hear about all the fights, grats to podiums at both races.

Jeez Christmas that was BRUTAL! Who's the dumbass who spec'd this thing?

Quali: I grid 6th and thats solid for me in the MArcos. It drives nice but I can;t getthru corbners quick enough to overcome the lack of grunt!

R1: Get a great launch and pass Keith to go P5. I actually have to hold up as I might tag Yves and Rafael before Eau Rouge! I settle in as best I can but Keith slides by coming off the hill with more exit speed than me. I battle with Glenn and Rafael the whole race trying to hold them at bay. Glenn loops it in the chicane and that frees up Rafael to persue! And man does he drive hard to get a spot if he can. I manage to let him by when I lock up the rear at the hairpin and he gets a nice 2 second lead.

I grind . 2off and then he grabs it back lap after lap! Finally he loops it like I did in the Hairpin and I hold him off for one lap to finish 5th,

R2 I am 4th and gte a good launch but Keith is by with agreat launch!I squeeze by Rafael to go P4. Chasing Jarrod on lap 2 til he goes Agro and gifts me P3 with Rafael in hot pursuit!

RAfael and I battle the entire race seperated by as much as 1.5 and as little as .3 at times! It was a great battle Rafael! I finish P3 for a POdium!

Jeckyl and Hyde for me> not tonight! 2 solid finishes and 3rd overall.

Hope you guys enjoyed the event! I thought it was pretty cool.

If you missed the last Touring Car race here at the American Racing Club, you missed one incredible track! So I brought it back for you guys in the really BIG BIG GT cars! 4 miles in length and lapping in the 1:58 range should prove fast enough for any speed junkie!
