Hello. I have a Saitek R220 steering wheel. it comes with paddles and everything.
Obviously it's not supported by the game but the steering and buttons work perfect (except that i can't reduce the deadzone from my wheel).
However, the throttle and brakes don't work as sliders... they function like buttons; meaning it doesn't matter if i kick the paddle all the way down or halfway, it will always register as full throttle, making driving without throttle control impossible. I feel like i could be 1 or 2 seconds faster if i can keep the racing line in the orange the whole time through the curve... If not then either way, it's more fun if i can get rid of the driving aids.
Is there a solution to this problem (other than the obvious buy a new steering wheel)?
