It is, isn't it? Has a really nice flow to it. I think the name is rather apt too... Curvelo. Perfect for high-grip cars like the Sprint Race.

Will at any point there be any 'random' weather races? or day to night races? Or how about team racing? Just a thought to keep everyone interested? Maybe some others have suggestions for the group?

From what I understand and have also experienced, there are some performance impacts when using certain weather settings and/or night racing. This obviously varies depending on specific hardware setups so some are affected more than others. I'm sure @Goffik mentioned this before and seems we will need to wait for some optimisation by Reiza first. On the team racing front I wasn't aware that driver swaps are working atm??
I guess initially it will be a case of working through all the car/track combos and then moving to multiclass perhaps?
Maybe a poll would be a good idea just to get a general feel for what everyone wants to race?

Team racing, no, because it's outside the scope of the simple, relaxed and accessible racing our clubs are designed for. Weather is out for similar reasons, but also because of the performance issues it introduces for many people, especially those in VR.

Both may at some point feature in occasional special events, but not as regular features. Those special events are not likely to happen just yet either, because AMS 2's online feature set is still rather limited and requires further development in both functionality and user-friendliness.

3) If the event uses a two race format, everyone will be returned to the lobby after race one. Simply head back to the track and there will be a five minute "super-pole" followed by race two.

It has to be as above because AMS 2 does not currently have proper support for two race formats online. The qualy is more of a "break" between races than anything else, but also serves to potentially mix up the grid a bit since we also don't have a reverse grid option yet.

Also, I would strongly advise actually reading the information contained in post #2 since it could save you a great deal of wasted time and potential frustration. It's there for a reason!

Given the type of racing I'm expecting from this class, I'm sure it will be a regular feature of the club. I'm also considering expanding the club to two races per week if the demand is there.

I was going to suggest that it would be awesome to follow the new Stock Car Season but wasn't sure about manpower etc but this is great news, two races per week would be awesome
