can you make the 2013 tv tachometer

Can't im afraid. That would require a dll directx injection and i have no knowlege of how to do it. If i did, this mod would be so much better! The tachometer mod seen in previous games is made by kenken. He doesn't mod anymore so don't bother him. Anyone with the know how please go right ahead and make one!

auroboros updated TV Inspired OSD with a new update entry:

Reworked all OSD display textures in double resolution. Final update until 2014 comes out, unless a request comes in. I supplied the SD version too.

HD Examples:

Please note: I highly recommend you use Winner's 'Slim' font (used in examples above) from his Game fonts play mod...

Here's a link to the mod's b_osd.pssg file (coloured version) with the original game's starting lights:

http://www.mediafire.com/download/hvx1i7uitc2ctek/OSD_WITH_STARTING_LIGHTS.zip

Make a backup of your current f12013\frontend\b_osd.pssg file, then download this package, unzip it, and copy the f12013 folder provided in its OSD_WITH_STARTING_LIGHTS folder to:

Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common

f1_2013_2014_05_24_20_39_20_557.jpg

EDIT: If you prefer to use another version of this mod's b_osd.pssg file, you will have to reply here, and write down the exact version you want to use, or you can also restore the game's original starting lights yourself by using the Ryder PSSG Editor (-available at: http://petar.outer-heaven.net/downloads/ -):

1- First export the start_light_new.dds file from the game's original b_osd.pssg file

2- Then import that DDS image file into your prefered version of this mod's b_osd.pssg file

3- Once imported successfully, just save your new b_osd.pssg in your installation's f12013\frontend folder.

It took me less than 3 minutes to do it.

Thanks a lot,this is working,but I have another problem.I don't have flags, etc (yelllow flag,green flag,red flag).I need "b_osd.pssg" with red lights and flags.

In that mod, you have the choice of different versions:
__Flags__or__no_flags__.jpg

You have to choose the b_osd.pssg(s) AND d_osd.pssg(s) inside the "with flags" folder(s).

Edit: If you installed another mod that removed the flags before, try restoring the original f12013\Osd\config.xml file from a vanilla backup copy of the game.

Is this the Monaco track update ?

Yes, it's last year's update (or October '13's, rather) from Jim [reddvers] and his friends, I think (although, I'm not 100% sure if I recall well). I just imported my F1 2014 "screen" boards and re-worked the MONACO GRANDPRIX fence boards to make them look closer to this year's using Pain.NET, that's about all I did. No Rolex clock there, although I also replaced the LG boards by Rolex - Formula 1 Official Timepiece images I took a screenshot of on the official Formula1.com site. Not a real update. I'll watch F1pole to see if there's one available soon, and perhaps mod it for my own use here. I can't make the one I have made here at home public, because it mostly doesn't belong to me, but to other modders.

EDIT: I just went there and guess what ? :p

"Vanilla game files" is another way of saying "original game files" because before installing any mod, it is highly recommended to make backup copies of the original game files (the ones you intend to overwrite with modded game files) in a safe location or personal folder. This is because some time after installing (or copying) modded files, you may want to restore the game's original behavior, if you will.

It's a little complex to explain in detail how to use mods if you're new to it and don't know how to move files around, so I recommend you should read a lot about it (google is your friend, sometimes). I am not going to write a tutorial on the topic here.

Race Department's seach box is also useful for finding audio (or other) mods:
http://www.racedepartment.com/forum/search/?type=resource_update
Enter: audio mod, for example (all other boxes are optional: they can be left blank). I am not going to do searches for you or anyone. Sorry. I don't mean to be harsh, it's just that I don't have enough time to do that.

EDIT: Ok, just testing the link above led me to this mod on the first resulting page:
http://www.racedepartment.com/forum/resources/2014-raw-audio-pack.1692/
(This is the one I use in my fictional F1 2014-modded game)
