Well the track has nice flow and long steady state corners. A couple of chicanes just for variety. And of course the curbs of despair and the RED TIRES of DEATH!

Q went well for me as I got a PB and gridded 4th. :dance2:

R1 my start was typically slow. Nobody contacted me while passing. I found myself on the deep inside at T1 and got the wheels on the curb and looped it. HEre come the unsuspecting Chris Buchanan in the Glorioud red ALFA and we KISS like two porn stars. Sorry Chris we both end up banged up badly. wwe both continue fora bit and I retire with a very bad suspension issue.

to Chris' credit, he soldiers on.:victory:

R2 sees me on pole adn getting a really awful start again. Everyone avoids my sorry ass and I fall in the action 8th entering t2/T3. it gets pretty tight in T3 and I end up off the track on the outside. I just can't get it together.

I start to get the laps together and pass a couple guys in the grass/sand and over take chris on the track to settle in to P5 w/ 12 to go. I eat into Gaynall's lead about .75 a lap but am unable to pass and end up having to chase him down for 2-3 seconds back each time I bobble. TWice he parked the car entering a corner I can take quicker and have to evade or contact him which I just don't like to do at all.

We both pass Bob Luneski around lap 10 than I loop it touching the god forsaken curbing again. I can no longer catch anyone with the time remaining and finish 6th.

R2 I had good pace and control but was unable to pass for 4th. Have to work on the race craft more. Each time I would set up Gaynall for a strong run off a corner I'd cook the throttle abit or touch a bad curb and lose time.

Fun event none the less!

Note: can we use Bob's TRack builder to eliminate the RED TIRES and release and update?arty2:

Just spent a bit of time offline lapping this track. STCC honda

Ran in the 01's dry on Yves set up and in the 06's in the RAinon the default wet set up. Had transferred some wet set ups from Ramon Van Rijn but they are now lost in the game somewhere so I'll have to find them again and try it out.

this will be an absolute PANIC with the weather and track configuration! lets ROCK!

Good races last night - Yves was speedy (as he should have been on his birthday!) and I enjoyed watching him and Keith battle from the pits. Didn't have time to get my setup correct, so my car started to fade badly from lap 7 on. Oh well, at least I had some time to race!
