Triples and SLI bad scaling?

I decided to try RRRE again after both triple support and other interesting content have been added.

I'm running i7-7k, 3x1440p and 1080TI SLI, both maxed OC. Normally solid +100fps in AC, rF2 and AMS.

Unfortunately the SLI scaling doesn't work well, both GPU have 99% load and FPS is somewhere in the 30-60fps range, in practice... Have tried SLI bits 0x00500005 with no difference at rrre.exe in the nvidia profiler.

Suggestions welcome

My guess now is that SLI is not supported, the NVIDA SLI indicator do not turn up at all even if both GPU has 99% load, SLI indicator shows up (and gives a value) in other titles.

To bad it don't seem to work, with the free weekend I have tested the car/tracks I was interested in and would much likely bought it otherwise, but still much better to find it out before I decided.

Reducing settings and testing with different SLI bits it get little better, but still heavy on the GPU.

Reading some update notes, there should be static force when standing still and smoke in the mirrors? Have none of that, triple and simucub1 bug perhaps?
