Tracks crash rfactor

The last 2 tracks I have made for rfactor crash rfactor whenever I try to test them. I have tried making sure the ai is set right in btb and I tried getting rid of some objects. I even tried rebuilding the tracks from scratch but I can not seem to figure out whats wrong. Does anyone have any suggestions?

2 things,
1, set rf to run in windowed mode, if there is a problem it will have a dialogue pop up. if you only have one monitor you wont be able to see this cause in full screen, the rf window stays on top.
2, set up trace, in the desktop shortcut add in the command line, trace=4 ["C:\Program Files (x86)\rFactor\rFactor.exe" trace=4] then after crash open, userdata\logs\trace.log

Thanx for the help mianiak. Running rfactor in windowed mode didn't help though. I'm not sure how to do the trace thing. When the popup came up and said rfactor has stopped working I got this in the description.

how far are you with building those tracks ? did they crash every time you tried to test (privat test/raceweekend) ?

what xpacks are in use ? custom textures ? custom background images ?

try going back : delete all objects all terrain patches - test it if it works roll back again - delete objects keep the terrain

the one time i had my track crash on load was when i used a non-tothepowerof8 background image.. removing it fixed the crash issue

trial and error :/

edit : create a shortcut for rfactor on your desktop -> rightclick -> properties
you will see "target" something like "drive:\_yourfolders_\rFactor\rFactor.exe

add the "trace=4" at the end like so -> drive:\_yourfolders_\rFactor\rFactor.exe trace=4

click ok !
