Old version is a AMS conversion ....But I don't understand the problem since AMS & RF2 are partners in simracing--not crime. They let us pay twice for the same content ............

Unless they come with a statement like SimBin did, where they allowed converting from older to newer games, it's off-limits for official RD-events.

To use liveries in game:
Choose a car in game(remember the number on the car). Click tuning/customize, and "create dir".
Find the created folder in: Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\UserData\player\Settings\ToyotaCelicaGTO_1986\(number on car)
Unpack zip-file. Paste the dds files there, and choose it on tuning/customize in game. Voila!

Except, I didn't make it. I can't not use the Shyte Chocolate car, just because I find it so funny that it is a genuine, proper, serious company that makes chocolate! I'll join you in racing charity cars in a later race @akephoe

I did make a new livery for this week, but after some messages back and forth with the guy handling the company I based the livery on, I decided to keep it stored on a secret place. At least for the time being
