Sorry, I never knew about it. But I see the point that it could blow up such threads.

My intention is to share my experiences to somehow be part of the event even if I cant't make it to the race itself. This gives me much more motivation to squeeze out everything instead of racing on a public Server or against the AI on a random track.

No problem; the rule is there because it sometimes discourages slower drivers from participating. The club is for everyone, of all skill levels.
