On Thursday the second of April we are going to wave bye bye to the winter and welcome the spring with a challenging fun event! We have ordered a bunch of cars from Chevrolet, Ford, Mitsubishi and Toyota and mounted Pirelli Snowtrack tyres on them. The folks from Kitzbuhel Snowpark in Austria are so kind to lend us their awesome Alp for one night of downhill action!

Make sure to bring some tissues (to wipe those tears from laughter) and have teamspeak installed.

All premium members can sign up for this event and we have unlimited slots available so make sure to bring a friend. Sign up below and make sure to tag fellow community members who you think are up for a challenge!

Yep, that was good fun! I'm done with that endless series of corners for a while though.

Yeah, it's a circuit I like, shame that they won't be using the final corner this year for the F1 race.

Maybe if they do some more work for next year and make a larger runoff area they can have it back again (he says hopefully).

But if you make a small mistake in one of those corners it tends to get amplified through the next one which may lead to overtaking. So fingers crossed we'll have a good grand prix there later in the year

Information for all participants!
We have a huge grid, so to ensure a good event it can't help to remind people of a few things:
  1. There will be no race restarts
  2. Hot lapping and racing with others are two different things. With 20 cars ahead of you into turn 1, you will need to brake much earlier. Remember this!
  3. If you leave the track, you must wait until it is safe to rejoin, even if that means letting the entire field through.
  4. If there is a yellow flag, slow down. Do not overtake under yellows. If you make an incident worse because you pile in at full speed, you're going to get reported. If you happen to overtake under yellows because of confusion or it was safer to do so, you must give the place back that same lap when safe to do so.
  5. Respect the pit speed limit!
Additionally, I am increasing qualifying to 15 minutes, and it will now be superpole meaning one out lap, one hot lap and one in lap. This is to reduce traffic during qualifying.
