Toro Rosso Rejected in move to replace Hartley with Lando Norris

Toro Rosso made move to sign Lando Norris on loan for rest of season. Understand they wanted Norris from next month’s Austrian GP. McLaren declined proposal.

McLaren: ‘We’re not surprised that other teams approach our drivers. They clearly believe they’re as talented as we do.’

I like Brendan but he very much gives the vibes of someone out of his depth in Formula 1. I wonder if he'll see the season out if their already looking for replacements.

I wonder who is next on the Toro Rosso reserve list?

Never understood why TR signed Hartley in the first place. It's a decent driver but already 28 years of age which for this team is already a bit too old. Norris would have been a better fit indeed.

Hopefully we'll see him next year next to Alonso!

Judging by some of the commentary during the race there's probably more chance of him being alongside Vandoorne than Alonso as they seem to think Fernando is just fed up of it now .
