Anyone ever experienced this issue where everything goes way too dark when you go through shadows, say when cast by a building onto the track? It's much darker than regular night time.

This happens for me at VLM Sebring when I'm racing in the late afternoon with long shadows. On the front straight there are shadows cast by the buildings for quite a long stretch. When I go through those shadows it's hard to see, even to see cars around you.

Is this a known issue?

Is there a fix?

Is it a track file parameter issue that I could maybe fix?

It depends on the way the shadows are generated :
- if it is a shadowcaster then modify track gdb either by increasing day ambient light line value (R,G,B) or decrease day directional light line values. Careful as it is quite sensitive so try (+-10,10,10)

- if it is a shadow skin (rare) then you should find the dds image, extract it from GTR file, open dds with gimp, add transparency around 50-60%, save and import to GTR file.
