F1 2010 Time Trial Week #4 Catalunya, Spain (Dry)

Hey everyone,

Welcome to time trial week this is basically people will drive lap times on designated tracks and post their times here. Also if you could provide some kind of proof say photo or for 360 and PS3 users just leave a gamertag/PS3 ID so one of our staff can just verify these times are not false.

This weeks track is Catalunya (Dry)

So basically you can put in as many laps as possible and your best can be posted here:

The closing day for this thread and results for times is Sunday next at 9pm (UK Time)

The race settings are as follows

Dynamic Racing Line: Off
TCS: Off
ABS: Off
Gears: Manual/Auto

I needed to ellaborate on this as there are a few people who are putting up times with aids on and these times will not count.

Done 1'17"838, on PC.

Not a fan of this track, but I did a few laps and recorded them. Not happy with last sector (especially last chicane), but I think the lap was pretty decent.

Oh I was driving against Johhnys ghost and accidentally choose yours, Alex. =) You must have just submitted it then.

Anyway, I dont get any flow in this track but I'll give it another go later.

yes from this afternoon. Car set for s1 and s2 but horrible to drive in the last chicane. Johnny did exactly the contrary, amazing s3 he did

How do you get 320 kph before the first curve??

Well, if you look at my setup in the vid I changed 6th and 7th gear to get higher top. Also, if you restart a lap you have lower top speed, because the computer always goes slow through last corner.

I have tried to change the 6th and 7th gear to get higher speed but i cannot get more than 314/315. Now I have 6th gear at 301 kph and seventh at 342 kph. I think i need getting tha extra speed to go below 1:18.3 (my fastest lap here)

Top speed is not key in this track and with default gears I also drive 116s. However, keep engine mapping standard in setup and change it to fast while driving. I don't know why, but sometimes my car is slower on the straight when I change it in setup (bug in TT).

You are right. Changing the engine mapping from the quick menu while you are driving seems to work. Now I can get 320 easy.

Also I beat me best time t 1:18.0

I hate the last chicane!!!
