Had a total pc freeze in quall. but made it to server just at the end. Starting dead last in 1st race made some progress to finish 11th. Race 2 tapped Gregory ( sorry man ) and end up at the back again. Some insane drive got me to 6th in the end. Hoping for more of the action in future :), hopefully on fri. or sat. again. Good racing all.

about flying around. That's ridiculous

To change this you can edit youre *.plr file into this;

[search for...]

BoneSpring Threshold="1.00000" // If latency is below this threshold, the spring is disabled
BoneSpring Min Constant="25.00000" // BoneSpring(TM) constant at collision threshold
BoneSpring Max Constant="125.00000" // BoneSpring(TM) constant at spring enact latency (should be higher than constant min...)

To stay at the ground will safe youre lot's of time, and you wont be airborned after the fenses

euhm, are you talking about cheating here?

Oi guys, great fun i had yesterday fellow young padawans. Crazy street tracks wich caused some hilarious moments on TS and i literally fell off the chair couple off times. Two times i crashed out though, what a hard battles we had though. Brilliant stuff, this friday thing! Tx Buxton, for learning me to do a Buxton my own, 2 times in a row. Hoplaaa! :D

Not much to report, as both races were basically over for me on the 1st lap. In both races I was run into in, or even before, the 1st turn. While I escaped any real damage on the 1st race Turn 1 incident, I was hit soon afterward. sustaining minor suspension damage. In the 2nd race, the suspension damage came before Turn 1.

I had hoped for better, especially after I did something I am loathe to do, join a public online race. But, wanting to test my setup under race conditions, I joined a pickup race online at Estoril, only to be wrecked, not once, but twice in the first turn.

It wasn’t just the new kids on the block, but also a veteran that had lead roles in the Turn 1 incidents. I am including video, not to point fingers at any one driver, but hopefully to help make future events better for all. Not all incidents I witnessed are included in the video. There was some overly aggressive driving on the part of some drivers throughout both events.

1) The race is never won at the first turn, but most certainly can be lost there.

2) When rejoining the track after running off course, please be extremely careful and do not blend into the race line until you are under speed and under control. I saw numerous occasions of drivers rushing back onto the track and into the racing groove when they were still not under control or up to speed.

Have a little respect and patience (especially on the first lap). See you next week.

Michael, I too watched my replay of the starts after hearing about your misfortunes. Its a shame because i was looking forward to a good battle with you, i noticed each time we was closeby on the grid.
And that bit at 0:25 I'm in the Red/White Leon, i did a very precise move to force the guy to break, as i was travelling faster i placed my rear bumper a touch in front of his front right, we didnt touch, and he had no breaking zone, so should have been taking a far left or right line as i'd made sure the car next to me was less than a car width so he couldnt sneak through the middle. But he didnt break either!. Looks to me like some of these guys were not paying any attention at all.:struggle:
