Gratulations to the podium drivers

Had an great evening with this car.

First race was my wingsettings way to optimistic, so I had it hard to stay on track, spun around a coupples of times, still got 4th.

Second race went much better, had an bad start and was way down in the field, could work my way up to 3rd, and did not lost so much time up to Gary and Colin, even got me a p/b on the last lap.

Everytime I drive theses cars, do they surprise me of how good the brakes are, just amazing how late you can brake.

Thanks Yves and R-D for setting this event up

It was a good fun night, signed up at the last minute and one i started practice i remembered how tricky these cars can be and i think i spun every lap up until qualifying, it probably did not help that these were my first laps for over a week as i felt like a complete knob sliding off the track everywhere :embarrassed:

Race one was great fun with lap one being the best of it as i tried to hold position behind Yves as he tussled for position with the guy in front of him and all this time i was under pressure from the car behind and all the time i was still trying to get used to the car and loving every minute of it and was very glad to get 7th place.

Race 2 i started i think in 2nd and managed to grab first just before the bridge and i held onto the lead for a while until i did my usual and slid off :embarrassed: but still managed to finish the race in 4th :woop:

So it was great fun, first time around here with this car and look forward to the next time i see this track car combo, thanks to all who made it so :good:

I recognize that skin from my first club race here at Road One.

And Warren, it really hasnt gotten away from fun. Remember alot of these guys are getting used to Variable weather. Being comfortable on track with 24+ drivers makes for a more fun then stressful night. Plus these laps are being driven with others which in turn is also fun. Most thursday night practice sessions we have 10-15 guys practicing helping each other out for the event the next day. It is a common occurence to have 8-9 in teamspeak on Thursday.

You should join us this Thursday for practice to see if youd like to join us :)
