Brain is such a magnificent design which yet includes many things to be discovered!
I discovered this topic some years ago when i was messing heavily with highend audio, blind testing and placebo effects etc.
If you're into this Hi-fi thing you sooner or later will meet lots of people claiming to have uberhuman hearing, for eample hear differnces which do not even exist. It's pretty common that money is made upon beliefs of the customers, highend cables, highend DA converters, highend software players and so on, without having a proof that this stuff really is better.
