Hey man, each their own, If you like plain AF tracks and have a potato PC, no worries, This is about options and also releasing content to a standard shown by most new mods! The Official one belongs back in the 90's! You step up and comment here for your opinion and that's it, then I'll give you my opinion in turn!

There is literally nothing out there IRL, the circuit was built in the middle of nowhere in SA. So the fact that there is no shrubbery or trees around is accurate. And if its about "updating to a modern standard" im sure someone out there could do a csp/rain fx update of the circuit. Theres nothing wrong with the mod, because thats how it is at the track.

Your points about "plain af tracks & belonging in the 90s" have no validity whatsoever so get your facts straight before you start talking BS would be my reccomendation

1. Your spelling is terrible? Sounds like your pretty A N G Y behind that keyboard.
2. Ive driven the laser scan, and its accurate as per TV footage/photos of circuit.
3. if your driving a circuit/course for its detail and not for the actual driving, then geez youve got some problems because AC is a SIMULATION, not a PC cooker.
4. The reason why the mod is "Plain af" is BECAUSE THERES NOTHING THERE OF SIGNIFICANCE IRL. ITS BUILT IN THE MIDDLE OF F****ING NOWHERE. Again i refer to #3, if your driving around a track looking at all the buildings/scenery etc and not concentrating on the driving aspect, then you really do have problems.
5. My imagination is plenty good enough, I again refer to points #3 & #4. Im here to drive and race against others. My main concerns are

• Accuracy of track mesh
• Accuracy of location
• Accuracy of buildings/objects

Note that i do not give a toss about details, if a person wants to include or improve to a certain level of detail, then thats fine. I have no issue with that. The problem i have is people like you who say "oh no that mod is no good because its 'BaSiC & pLaiN' the level of object detail is not up to my satisfaction". For real, pull your arrogant head out of your ass, be thankful we have people who are able to do laser scanning, so they can bring us accurate mods, for the community to be able to use.

They are basic AF because its a company/business doing it, they are trying to get their product out to the mass market without excess trouble/issues. Keeping things basic, while having a good level of accuracy means that it will work for everyone without any issues.

Quit your bitching about it, seriously. If your that worried/complaining about the "dEtAiLs" why dont you write the Shahin's an email, and request to improve the "dEtAiLs". Im sure they would like to bend you over and completely screw you, while claiming all the appreciation for your hard work.

2) Someone starts criticizing the quality of this unreleased project then mentions there's a RF2 conversion of the track, but you need to contact someone to get it, but they wont tell you who that someone is...

3) Then it was brought up that the track owners themselves are ripping people off with their own version, which is stolen...

4) Paid version is apparently now leaked, pirated...

5) Claims that the paid version is laser scanned, while the original creator confirms its not....

6) War of words between OP and the "critic" from earlier breaks out... Over accuracies and details from an unreleased build and a stolen non-lidar version...

John, gotta agree with you, we look like fools, I've put heaps of work on this track, just trying to get it to above Kunos level, What I'm going to do is stop retaliating to Cricketer and focus on my release

When people start Dot pointing and Grammar analyzing peoples replies just to have something, well, that's Clowns play, and yes I was a part of that too! John, thanks for the Reality check, and you're right on plenty of points......p.s The Official release isn't laser scanned, at least there's no mention of it in any tech details. Any creator of content doesn't deserve to have their content pirated, but my stance is, these types of mods should be free as it only adds to the community!

That's great to hear! I'm curious to see how it will look in the AC engine after you export from unity

All i was doing was stating how the paid version is the most accurate and got abused & slammed because "it has very poor detail" like ffs its not all about the level of detail. Some people cant run content in 4k, but they just get forgotten in all the "detail" hype

Pictures of a car going around a track isn't proof. I made the surface for the paid version, and can assure you that I never got a laserscan to work with. It's just marketing lies from a company with a proven history of exploitation.

Been steadily working on this track/project along with another one, Just going to post this sneak peek here and not start another Thread, Here's the Detailed Objects and Assets that will be put into this track [Bend] and another track that is in early stages [WIP] anyways, expect this type of quality and Custom Assets. I'm also going to be sharing all my custom made assets for the community, There's will be as of not about 80 different Cusom models and Detailed Textures (All maps included)
