TH8 Shifter Width

Can someone do me a favour please and measure how wide this is where it clamps or screws onto the wheel stand. I need to know whether i can fit this on my current stand next to my TX or whether I will need a new stand. My stand is really for the TX without the shifter but I reckon I'll have room If I move the wheel right over to the right.

Cheers, I've decided to invest in a cockpit with it's own gear shift mount so it won't be a problem now.
